Independent print production audit

Control print color and quality by the numbers, not by eye.

Independent production audit: equipment, color, RIP, defects, losses. Start with the online diagnostic — 6 questions to see where the likely bottlenecks are.

01 · Choose a scenario

Which of these is your situation?

Each card opens the check built for that situation.

02 · Cause layers

One symptom, six layers it can come from.

Each layer is checked on its own, so the fix lands on the cause and not on the symptom.

01

Machine

Geometry, printhead alignment, media feed, speed, stability, technical condition.

measureif the mechanics are unstable, no profile will save it
02

File / prepress

Artwork, overprint, trapping, resolution, color spaces, test preparation.

checkif the file is prepared wrong, the RIP will faithfully multiply the error
03

RIP

Queues, presets, material modes, file interpretation, manual operator overrides.

cross-checkif the queue alters the file, the print will not repeat
04

ICC / color

Profiles, ΔE, gray balance, repeatability, control strips.

measurewithout measurements, the color dispute remains a matter of taste
05

Material / ink

Media, ink, adhesion, curing, material batch, mode compatibility.

testif the material cannot hold the mode, the color dispute is pointless
06

Operator / process

Shift routine, control points, statuses, accountability, losses, reporting.

controlif the process does not record the decision, the defect will return

03 · Defect lab

The defects I get called about most often.

Macro shots from real jobs. Find yours and open the diagnosis route.

04 · Report format

What the report looks like.

Every report separates what is proven from what is not. Risks are ranked, the probable cause is named, and so is the next safe step.

Evidence gaps

no ΔE measurements, no stable test, modes not recorded

Decision

do not sign the final acceptance without a repeat test on the real material

What not to do

  • do not change 5 parameters at once
  • do not accept a machine on a single print
  • do not argue about color without measurements

05 · Training

Training for the team that runs the machine.

Corporate programs on your own jobs and equipment: color, ISO 12647 / G7, RIP, run acceptance. Program on request.

Production

For operators, prepress and technologists.

  • Color and ICC for digital/wide-format printing
  • RIP and production workflow
  • UV/wide-format defect diagnostics
Request the program

Management

For owners, directors and procurement.

  • Equipment acceptance and test protocols
  • Production statuses, CRM/ERP and loss control
  • Owner course: print production control
Request the program

An acceptance act is signed by a repeatable run, not by a promise.

06 · Request

If the mistake is already costing money, start with the facts.

Describe the machine, the material, the symptom and the urgency. The first reply tells you which chain to verify: equipment, RIP/ICC, material, operator routine or production process. Remote by data or on-site visit — decided on the diagnostic call. Reply within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). Materials handled under NDA.

What to include:
  • machine / model
  • material / ink
  • defect or task
  • urgency
  • what you have already tried changing
  • photo / video / file, if available
